Endeavour’s Instructional Leadership Team will be reviewing our homework policy to ensure we are following best practice with our students.

Homework guidelines for Fife Intermediate Schools are as follows:

• Teachers may provide support materials that are generally centered around practicing concepts students have mastered. This would include the Home Connections provided by Bridges 2 (new math curriculum).
• Through conferencing with students and families, teachers may provide resources and opportunities for students to further their learning or bolster foundational skills at home.
• Daily reading is an expectation across all grade levels. Students should read, or be read to, at least 20 minutes each day. Reading aloud with an adult and talking about the reading is also encouraged.
